General Instructions/Videos

Hi

I'm a new member and I'm having difficulty figuring out the back office of my site and the install of graphics and other issues.

Is there some kind of instructions for new site owner other than this general stuff I've been finding which actually tells me nothing.

I assumed there were instructional videos but I can not find them. I've been chasing my tail for a week with no success.

What things are you looking for in specific. There are no instructional videos that I am aware of. The only manual I believe there is, is how to intall GeN4. Robert is in the works of releasing a manual on how to work features of the script.

As far as installing graphics, I don't imagine that being GeN4 related but more so design related.

If you are talking about affiliate program. I don't even know if that is out yet or if im late to ride that train. lol

Its actually all set to go I belive.
Just need to run a trial purchase to be sure.

There is a limited amount of promotional material currently also which is why I have not offically launched it yet. There are some designers from EMS currently working on them.

Hello

The above is a GeN4 Technical Support area question. Make sure to post in the correct area to receive the fastest results.

Changing graphics could be done (as with ANY/ALL SCRIPTS) by opening up the image file which is the image you want to customize, and then simply editing the image which sits there. Delete it, paste a new image, resize..ect. Then when you upload the image back (FTP), you would over ride the existing one and it would be your new image in place of the old image. If you want to actually place a new image, you will need to learn some basic HTML/PHP/CSS. I suggest using google to find the results due to they will explain it better then I could and will use massive examples. The basics of it are <img src=\"image.png\">, but you will see that there are many examples.

As I mentioned to you via email I belive, I am working on a PDF instruciton manual and will be releasing it when it is finished.

If you have specific questions, we are always available to answer them. Try to be as specific as possible, provide the full idea of what you are trying to do/figure out, and we can then help you the best we can.
