Ok, so you want to start your own Successful Paid to Click site but arent sure where to start.
I will try to make this as simple to follow and as short as possible and keep in mind, all prices/rates I give have worked for me and if you set the prices to those I give as an example, it will all work together... 1: You will need a plan and you could even use this tutorial in whole or in part. 2: You will need money as this should be viewed as a Business and almost all business's need start up money and being realistic, you should start off with $2000-$5000. 3: You will need your script, domain name and hosting Obviously. 4: Decide how you want to operate your PTC. There are many successful PTC which you can base your business model off of as far as prices for advertising, referral rentals and membership upgrades go so Stay close to what works for others. 4.1: Offer competitive prices for advertising and use a mixture of prices such as those from Neobux and Clixsense (Examples of great prices) 4.2: Decide your referral rental prices, I prefer offering rentals at a higher out right price such as $1-$1.50 and keeping their extension prices Very low such as $0.01-$0.05. There are benefits to this as the majority of rented referrals wont remain active for 6 months or more for you to make back your money for getting them their. (It cost about $1 for every member who joins a site through your advertising efforts and less then 40% remain active). 4.3: Set your Earnings per Click accordingly for free members. For standard ad views, give them $0.005-$0.01 per click and for their referrals earnings, base it off of their referrals standard ad views ONLY and set the price at $0.002. (If following my tutorial to the letter). 4.4: Set up your Upgraded Memberships types and the rates for these but make sure that upgraded members earnings from their own clicks is only about 1/4-1/3 of the cost of a membership. If you decide to offer monthly membership upgrade options (My referral prices work great for these), it is often a good idea to charge about 1.25-2 x the yearly price. If you charge $90 for 1 year, charge anywhere from $10-$20 for a monthly membership upgrade. 4.5: Never offer more per referral click then an advertisement would get. If you base referral earnings off of Standard Ad views only, Make sure that the members only earn up to $0.01 for a standard ad view from their referrals regardless of membership. Proper working example of what it could look like. Ultimate membership for $20. 10 Standard ads for the upgraded members @ $0.02/Click=$6~ per month from personal clicks. Earnings from Referrals Clicks=$0.01 per standard Ad view. 4.6: Set your members referral amounts according to membership level and if you rent referrals, it is usually a good idea to keep direct referrals at a lower amount then rented referrals. Example for free member: 25 Direct referrals. 50-250 Rented Referrals. 4.7: Set your pay out rates. It is almost always a good idea to start free members payments at several dollars higher then upgraded members. It offers them a bit more incentive to purchase a membership and since free members are more likely to leave, it keeps your actual profits a bit higher since the click was paid for but wasnt cashed out. Additionally, set your payouts at $4-6-8 for free members and $2-4-6 for upgraded members. 5: Once you have your prices/rates for everything from Pay outs to purchases/services, it is time to advertise so pick sites with alot of active members. I recommend using Neobux and Clixsense for advertising purposes as they have a high amount of daily users and pretty good advertising prices. 6: When Advertising your site, try to set an initial goal of where you want it to be within the first 1-2 weeks. I would recommend shooting for 2000 people in the first 2 weeks which means you should shoot for gaining about 1000-1200 members in the first week and they will help you gain the rest since they are trying to get their own referrals. 7: Decide whether you want to use self sponsored advertisements or not. If you do decide to use them, only offer 2-4 Standard ads for free members and make sure you have the funds available to pay for them at all times. No person is going to advertise on a site with a low amount of members and no person is going to become a member if there are no advertisements to view. 8: In most cases, your site isnt going to blow up into a phenomenon over night or even in a month. It could take up to 6 months or more before people will continuously make purchases on your site. 9: Dont be afraid to ask for help from other PTC owners you know. Trust is the #1 sales tool in a PTC and all it could take is 1 PTC owner to point their members in your direction and get your site noticed. 10: DONT CHANGE YOUR POLICIES OFTEN!! Even if it is a great idea and will allow your members to earn more, trust me, they will in 99% of cases, not like it and leave. If it aint broke, dont fix it or improve it. 11: If you follow my directions to the letter, you will greatly improve your chances of staying afloat for years to come.
