the problems with dynamics ip is that they change^^so ech time they change you have to switch the ip or simply add the start of your ip like 212.87.xxx.xxx
and 87.1.xxx.xxx so it will reduce the ip access ,but it will not limit to your 2 ip adress. the best is to have a clue of what are the ip that your provide give you. Or ask them for a single ip adress.

Most isp's will be happy to give you a static ip address if required, most will charge extra for this.
Also if your in a country where isp's are required to put you behind a proxy, you won't be able to use the static ip address for http requests, only https if they don't proxy that as well. |

A dynamic ip which in this example: 234.78.********* can be added, but this means every address which starts with the first prefexes, will be allowed an attempt at login via the extra layer.
Multiple ip's can be added, not a problem. The whole point is that if you can't even access the first layer, you will never, I repeat never, be able to actually attempt login from the admin area....because you'll never even see the screen. |
