Would not it be interesting to propose an offline method of payment by check and bank transfer to pay for our members but also for the members to pay their packages etc. ... ? Depend on a platform like PayPal or AlertPay can be hazardous in case of closing the account.

I think it would be a good idea to start drawing up some more Legal agreements for those who are interested in this and also more security features as this could potentially be devastating to members and owners if the proper tools and knowledge arent used.

If Im not mistaken, this would mean financial information could and most likely will be stored on our servers which increases the need for a whole lot more security then we previously needed.

Dont get me wrong because I like the idea, I just think it is potentially dangerous if the right precautions are not made.

As for security speaking, the DB is safe as long as the CPanel you use is https/the connection used to get CPanel loaded is forced https, the password used for CPanel is fully secured by using both letters, numbers and symbols, and you change the root login from default to one of your choice. Also, turning off error reporting on your server/site is very important, as well as locking down your server which is needed in ANY web type business.

Any info gathered would be encoded in the DB, and would be decrypted before being read.
