Default Chat Installation

I am interested in installing a chat on my website! I would be grateful for suggestions on the type of chat software as well as any specific information related to its installation on a GEN4 platform!

Thanks

Hello

Many have used Livezilla and it has worked out well. Really due to the openness of the coding, you can incorporate about any script as long as it is usable with PHP.

Thanks

I think he means a chat room for his users, not a live support chat.
I'm also looking for a chat room script but I can't find it anywhere, it would be nice if someone can help me.

Thanks

This is a free one: free flash chat rooms everywhere.

I used it on the following site...

JohnFromCincinnati.net - Chat Room

You don't need a password, just click "connect" to start the chat.

Where do you want it to be?

You can create a separate page that is only for the chat and link to it either from the main outside menu or from the account menu. You can code it to only be visible when logged in. You could put it on the "contact" page above or below the form. Or you could put it on the main account page, at the bottom. Or you could make it part of the forum.

It's really up to you.

I know you were probably joking, but... The chat room I showed you does not give you any type of a warning when someone is on it so putting it in an obscure place you don't often check is probably not a good idea. If you do this you are opening it up to abuse.
