using social network to get more visibility

Nowadays, social networks are the key in the internet business.
If you wish to get a good amount of visitor, create a fan page, do a contest with a price.

If you want to get some good promo, here are some tips:
- focus on the audience you wanna reach ( e.g. men with a work aged between 25-45 yrs, married)
The more specified you are, the best return you will get.

Dedicate your time in promoting contents, the more explaination you get, the more people will join the contest.

- do it for free! link the contest to your website, and the website to the choosen network ( e.g twitter or facebook).
- get a pro design on both the page and the website, and even better, do a special page for the contest ( can be xhtml/css, and a 'Like' or '+1' or 'follow' buttom)
Make it as clear and attractiv as possible. Use english or the appropriate language. Don't hesitate to have multiple page for multiple audience targetted.

I will take the exemple of facebook in the following:

When 1 member become fan of your page, it's good. But it's exponensial, meaning the more people you have, the more people will join. People are confident when there is a lot of their friend actually on the fan page.
You will have many question in your page, as stated, dedicate your time answering them correctly, that will make people even more happy to be there and to have a chance of winning.


- Link the contest with a small poll, to get a trace of people for after
